Lloyd's Register-approved wet welding — cracks, doublers and cofferdams, afloat
Underwater welding repairs hull cracks, doubler plates, cofferdams and structural attachments while the vessel stays in service — no transit to a yard, no dry dock, no off-hire. Our welder-divers work to Lloyd's Register-approved wet-welding procedures in flat, vertical and overhead positions.
Welder-diver qualifications are available to your superintendent and class surveyor before work starts. Every job is documented with pre- and post-repair NDT where required, CCTV footage and a signed report within 24 h — at 40+ African ports, mobilised from Douala in 24–72 h.

Wet welding under water carries strict controls on current, consumables and technique. Our procedures are approved by Lloyd's Register and aligned with AWS D3.6M for underwater welding, so the repair is accepted by class without a second look.
The same dive spread covers oxy-arc and hydraulic cutting — for fouled propellers, damaged appendages and steel preparation before a weld.
Send your vessel name, port, ETA and a description of the damage — we confirm scope and price, usually within hours.
